NYC has been on the decline for years.  manhattan is drowning in franchise restaurants, banks, corporate caca.  it’s a very vanilla city now… if you grew here or were here before the mid-2000s, you know how depressing it is now.  rising rents, your favorite digs & dives are all closing…  brooklyn and queens are oversaturated with new high-rise condos, new buildings replacing originals to make room, filled with artisanal hipster shite.  even the bronx has been infiltrated by hipsters!

it’s just not the same anymore… mourn this city with this little gravestone, as a memorial to the big apple that is no more. #RIPNYC
